This is Golden Beach in Cyprus, where a friend and I spent a lovely day and night. It’s on the eastern side of the far north tip of the island and it’s a beautiful spot. Good morning from the warm sun of Cyprus, which I’m currently admiring through the windows of my comfortably air-conditioned room. This is a photo I took in Rotorua (New Zealand), in the thermal village Whaka - this is the natural colour of this volcanic lake, caused by the minerals emerging with the hot water from the earth’s crust.
